Course Description
It is an exposition of the philosophical system in Greece
[and Rome], with emphasis on the philosophical thought of Socrates, Plato and
Aristotle.
Course
Objective:
Philosophy cannot be studied apart from its
history and the most systematic and orderly way to do it is to begin at the
beginning. The aim of this course is to introduce the students to the origin of
philosophical thought from Thales to Plotinus and to help them discover the
ideas and insights of these early great thinkers.
